Realism It is only a slight exagg timetion to say that the academician study of International Relations is a debate intimately realism. According to Wohlforth, all the schools of thought (liberalism and critical theories) define themselves as to how they relate to realism. He adds that the misuse of terms is a reference point of misunderstanding.
