The rocklike Road I Rode
Robert Frost once said two roads diverged in a wood, and I/ I took the one
less traveled by, / And that has made all the difference. Robert had a degraded and grief
filled life. This quote from his poem must seduce been very connectable with his life, as well
as with other multitudes lives. In life, there are thousands of choices you gutter make, of which
can be good or bad. This quote says to me that you should not routine on the crowd, contain out,
and take risks. It tells me to be a leader not a follower, and that there will be a
implication for your actions , either a reward or penalty.
In the fresh To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper lee side there are three characters that
face different situations where they stand out and take risks. The first character that was
spotted who was not a follower was sentry Finch; Scout is never fearful to be her true self.
Growing up in the southeast in the mid 1930s there were certain expectations for women and
boylike girls. Some of which, were that they were supposed to come apart the proper apparel; act
like a young lady should; have readiness; and help inside the household.
However, Scout is
a true tomboy, she would wear overalls over dresses often. One example, would be when
Scout and Jem are in the Radleys backyard at night trying to look through with(predicate) the window to
see what Arthur Radley looks like. Many of the people in the townsfolk including her own
Aunt Alexandra, who is obsessed with their family history, would comment and criticize
Scouts improper behavior. Scout does not back heap and give in to macrocosm someone who
she is not, she is content being who she is, and how she dresses and acts. The second
character who displayed leadership qualities is Atticus Finch. Atticus is representing a
black man named Tom Robinson for a case. Atticus representing a black man caused his
