Mattel, a society that started out of Ruth and Elliot Matt Handler garage store in Southern California in 1945, over the geezerhood Mattel has developed into a global toy manufacturer. Even though headquarter in El Segundo, California, Mattel was outsourcing to over 43 countries. When making a choice to go global a company is incessantly so faced with outsourcing. As per our reading we see that Mattel chooses to outsource to Asia in the 1980s and built facilities in the 1990s in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore. be global comes with a lot of responsibility and its fair handle of scrutiny. In 2007 Mattel, Incorporated was brought before congress due to a toy safety issue.
