Is No Home Better than Their Home?
It is a late August morning and the Patrick home is bustling. Joshua, 11, Paul, 8, Joey, 8, and Raul, 6, switch quite the raucous as they check the time, theyre late. Joshua, the eldest, suffers from Autism and is prone to behavioral outbursts, making his chances for permanent position slim. These are the lucky ones. Josh, Paul, Joey and Raul have found their forever family, having been adopt by gay partners Dennis and Thomas Patrick (Spurlock, 2008).
