The Story of an Hour

Mrs. Mallard has been loaded d have got with pump trouble for years. Following her

husbands expiry her newfound freedom heals her pain, but ultimately takes her life.

Mrs. Mallards reaction to her husbands untimely conclusion is exposit as anything but

typical. She did not experience the paralyzed inability to accept its significance.

She immediately go to her room alone where she comes to hurt with the news.

It was her sister Josephine who told her, and her husband friend Richards was there to.

Richards was the one who had been in the newspaper office when the railroad disaster

was received, with Brently Mallards name leading the list of killed. Richards waited

for the second telegram to be sure. He still gave the wrong news.

The room to which she retreats is a coefficient of reflection of the newfound freedoms that

accompany the loss of her husband. When receiving news of someone death you have to

make sure its true before you parachuting to think of the future without that person.

Women back in the 1800s women had it pestiferous. It was so bad that when Mrs. Mallard

heard of her husband death that she had a micro joy that she was free. The joy she feels

over possessing her freedom is something which consumes her. Mrs.
