Germany was also consort with Austria and they thought that Austria was right in declaring war. Germany thought best if they warned Russia non to support Serbia but the Russians ignored the advice so Germany then declared war on Russia. Germany then wanted to arrest all over France and saw this as an opportunity they then declared war on France as well. The Germans made their way to France by freeing by Belgium. They had already asked permission from Belgium to go through them and take over France but Belgium said no but the Germans went through anyway terrorising Belgium.
