What Is Robotics?

Robotics is the study of the design, construction and use of robots.
Also, it is the carve up of engineering which covers themimicking of various humane characteristics.
Robotics is the branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, structural disposition, manufacture and application of robots.
It is related to the sciences of electronics, engineering, mechanics, and software.



What is a ROBOT?

Actually, its a MACHINE MAN or a mechanised intelligent agent
According to the Robot Institute of the States (1979) a robot is:
A reprogrammable, multifunctional manipulator designed to happen upon material, parts, tools, or specialized devices through various programmed motions for the per markance of a variety of tasks.
A machine capable of carrying out a complex series of actions automatically.




A machine resembling a human being and able to replicate certain human movements and functions.
