Personal Integrative Theory of Counseling

Abstract
When developing a individualized integrated guess there are three things that should be implemented and based upon. An effective Christian counseling theory should possess Spirituality, Theology and psychology. The model should be flexible liberal to allow non believers as well as Christian to combine a relationship with their clients using both scientific and theological techniques. The integrated approach should take into accountability individualizedity, motivation, human learning and individual differences. By organizing a counselors personal theory it can help improve decision making and growth. By instituting a Spiritual worldview it will lead clients bug out the path of hope and change in Christ.
Personality Structure
A person cannot only if be expected to change physically and mentally, their personality is expected to change as well. Crabb (1977) describes the personality building as a need that is important for counselors to be effective.
Crabb (1977) describes fin different part of the personality which includes: conscious mind, unconscious mind, primary counselor-at-law, will, and emotions. The conscious mind is the mental evaluation of events and the way that we speech to ourselves does affect how we feel. The unconscious mind is the basic assumptions that meet the involve a person has for significance and security (Crabb, 1977). The basic direction is the direction that a person chooses for themselves. There are only two basic directions in which to feel and they are to live for self or to live for God (Crabb, 1977). The emotions are the content for individuals to feel (Crabb, 1977).
