Although short, Amelia Earharts history was precise amply of exciting firsts in aviation as easily as firsts for accomplishments done by a woman, which has made her a famous part of US history. Earhart was born July 24, 1897 and was presumed dead 40 years later in July of 1937 when she disappeared during an attempt to zap close to the world. Earhart saw her first plane at the age of 12; how eer her first ride in a plane was not until the age of 23. She loved flying so much that Earhart decided to learn how to fly. Earhart started learning to fly in January 1921 and in the same year purchased her first airplane. Although Earhart was not the first women to ever learn how to fly her passion about flying and everything tie in to aviation, led to her being invited to fly across the Atlantic as a passenger in 1928.
The flight across the Atlantic created instant fame for Earhart, as the first female passenger to fly across the Atlantic. Earhart did not feel like she should have clear so much fame because of simple being a passenger, and so she decided that her following achievement would be to actually fly the Atlantic herself. Earharts persistence and dedication paid away in 1932 when she became the first women to fly alone across the Atlantic. Her next record making flight was in 1935 when she became the first someone to ever fly from Hawaii to the mainland.
