Chapter 9
The chapter begins with David harvesting with other farmers. While hes working in the guinea pig his head starts to hurt and he begins to run across the fields. He doesnt know why hes running but he starts to elan towards a lake. When he reaches the lake, he sees Rosalind running as rise and when she reaches the lake they see Petra drowning. David dives into the lake and saves Petra. He lays her on the ground and he and Rosalind begins to select how that was possible. Neither of them knew Petra was drowning or why they were running. Rosalind then explains that Petra has stronger powers than the rest of the paranormal people. She said that Petra can control peoples minds. After that incident, David has a pipe dream where people find out Petra is a deviation and Joseph Strorm is to the highest degree to kill her. He wakes up in panic and posterior tries to speak to Petra using his powers.
Unfortunately, his thoughts dont reach her so he asks Rosalind what to do. He suggests he should tell Petra everything normally but Rosalind says its not a good idea. David recalls a lecture that was given to him by middle-aged Man Jacob. Jacob ranted about deviations and what should be d unrivaled to them. This lecture raised(a) Davids self-awareness a lot.
