The 1960s-1970s was a time period that was very important to American Society. It helped in many aspects but also destroyed in other aspects. After the assassination of hot seat John F. Kennedy, chairwoman Lyndon B. Johnson was put to charge. His administration did a few things effectively and debility versa. President Lyndon B. President Lyndon B. Johnson tackled poverty actively with his Great Society program and all the acts under it, effectively lowering the levels of needy people in the U.S.A.
