I postulate been panic-stricken of basements since i was 5. It all started when I watched The mammary gland with some family in a basement and got really scared and every since then I have been scared of basements! I cant connect this phobia to any other s or event in my life. I just trust I am numb because of the photo.

When I was little, I also had the same experience as this person. My sister and I used to watch horror movies. I think because of this I became afraid of the being alone, which gave me Autophobia. I was able to go to these places, but staying there in silence made me think about the horror movie and what might happen.
