Inmate Subcultures and Their Role in Prison Violence

Prison delirium is not something new to the prison house population, in fact, there stand been many studies done on the subcultures of prison and the effect the prison itself has on these subcultures. From these studies, there has been some evoke insight into the ways in which prisons themselves seem conducive to the violence that goes on in these facilities. Within the prison walls, there is a life different then that lived on the outside.
